Relief Section

Relief plans fund-raising drives that allows our community to support charities across in the UK and across the globe.

Examples of SJ Relief appeals include: raising funds for the Ali-Asghar water appeal; sponsoring students for the Zainabiyya Child Sponsorship Scheme; building houses and mosques in devastated regions such as Pakistan; sending food baskets and life aid boxes to drought hit areas, including Africa; and supporting local schemes such as Food for Thought for the homeless.

Two of Relief’s projects that are now dates in the diary include the Annual Tube Collection and Annual Stanmore Solidarity Walk.
