Stanmore Jaffery's and Islamic Unity Society would like to invite you to join us for a ladies only visit to the cemetery to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Ali (AS) and for an opportunity to reflect on what is left of our short lives..

Acquaint yourself with the place of our final abode, the reality we like to forget about. At the end of the day, we are going from this world to another, and all that remains on this bare earth are stones to mark the presence of those who once were…
"Indeed we belong to Allah , and indeed to Him we will return." (2:156)

Reciting Quran to ease the punishment of those who have passed can also prepare recitals of Quran for our own souls once we leave this temporary world. A good deed is never wasted and Allah (swt) will reward us for taking the small amount time to send blessing to the dead who need them.

Join us: Saturday 19th July 2014 at 12pm
Meeting at: Woodcock Hill Cemetery, Harefield Road, R.
ickmansworth, WD3 1PD

Ladies are requested to bring straw or plastic mats to sit on whilst at the cemetery.
To confirm attendance, please email sisterslit@jafferys.org by Friday 18th July at the latest
